Our rules

Please read and understand these rules before interacting with or attending WarringtonFurs.

Chat rules:

  1. Safe for Work (SFW) only!
  2. Please refrain from sharing, distributing or advertising art or stickers made using AI software. We are a creative community, so let's support our artists!
  3. Our social platforms (including our Telegram chat) are 18+ only, but this does not mean you can post explicit content. Any content considered to be NSFW in nature will be removed, and a warning may be issued.
  4. Any form of discrimination / bigotry will not be tolerated! Including (but not limited to) comments on gender, race, beliefs, disabilities, etc... This also includes any topics or discussions that may cause distress to other members.
  5. Be respectful to other members of the community
  6. Any form of provoking or harassment will not be tolerated.
  7. Do not take matters into your own hands, If an issue crops up, please alert a member of staff and let them sort the issue out. Do not try to become the higher authority and take over.
  8. Anyone caught acting as authority when you do not have the right to do so will be hit with an immediate warning / ban.
  9. Keep personal (outside) drama / issues and spam to a minimum, We understand everyone needs to vent sometimes (and that's okay!) but we ask that you do not overwhelm the chat with these issues.
  10. Some topics may cause distress to other members.
  11. Please do not spam the chat, and allow other members to be heard. No one likes scrolling through a minefield of GIFs and stickers to find a specific message.
  12. Some topics may cause unnecessary distress or cause heated debate. Please be respectful regarding each other's views, and discontinue your conversation if a chat member says they are uncomfortable.
  13. If a member of staff tells you to stop a conversation, please follow this without any form of argument.
  14. If you wish to advertise an event or topic that relates or does not relates to you, please ask an admin for permission.

Chat rules - Staff Interaction

  1. Our team entirely consists of volunteers, who dedicate their spare time to WarringtonFurs. As a result, they may not always be on hand to immediately respond to your request. We ask that you please be patient when waiting for a response. We will respond as soon as possible!
  2. No admin hopping
  3. If you have had communication with a member of staff, and are not happy with the outcome of a request: do not contact another member of staff to seek a different response (unless absolutely necessary).
  4. If you would like to dispute an outcome, please contact us using our contact form, or by emailing us at [email protected] (Please don't ask us in social media DM's, as these are handled by ALL staff, while disputes are handled by Admins ONLY)
  5. All incidents / concerns can be reported to staff, but we ask that you gather as much evidence as possible. We may not be able to act on incidents if little or no evidence has been provided. Please note: evidence supplied may be shared within the staff chats (with your consent).
  6. All staff decisions are final!

Meet rules:

  1. WarringtonFurs is strictly 18+ only!
    Any attendees who are unable to prove their age will be asked to cease attending the meets, so please bring a valid form of ID.
  2. Please follow instructions given by meet or venue staff. This is to ensure not only your own safety but the safety of all participating members.
  3. If a staff member asks you to do something they're doing it for a reason, please listen and respect their instruction.
  4. Please adhere to all relevant legal regulations and venue rules Do not behave in a way that contravenes the Public Order Act. The use (or sale) of illegal substances is strictly forbidden. If you are found doing this we have the right to notify law enforcement. Whilst the meet is 18+ only, there may be under 18s present in the venue.
  5. Do NOT purchase alcohol for anyone under the age of 18. Bar staff will follow regulations and challenge 25.
  6. No kink/fetish gear to be worn
    This includes (but isn't limited to) the following items:
    -Pup Gear
    -Bondage Gear
    -Non-Nylon Harnesses
  7. There will likely be members of the public at our venue, so this gear is not appropriate, If you attend an event with the following gear, you may be asked to remove it. You may even be asked to leave. (This also extends to inflatable props / wearable items)
  8. Sharing or viewing of indecent imagery or content is forbidden. Showing any indecent / explicit content and / or imagery during the meet (including sharing this content with other attendees) is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be sharing any form of NSFW content during the meet, you will be asked to leave the venue.
  9. Respect other attendees, including their personal space, Please respect other attendees personal space, and ask members for consent before touching or hugging. This includes fursuiters.
  10. Some topics may cause distress to other members.
  11. Do not touch fursuits unless you have permission from the suiter.
  12. Do not tug on a fursuiter's costume (including the tail), as this could damage their fursuit. Fursuits are VERY expensive; repairs are not cheap.
  13. If you believe that you, or another persons' space is
    not being respected, or you / they are being harassed: please speak to a member of staff!
  14. Our meets take place in public space; members of the public will be present. Therefore, we ask that you respect other people's boundaries, and are always aware of your surroundings.
  15. If you are fursuiting: we ask that you take care when fursuiting around the venue / outside the venue. If possible, have a
    handler with you.
